Munetrix has partnered with Renaissance Learning to automatically share STAR assessment data via a secure SFTP data file connection. This article explains how to set-up the SFTP data sharing connection for your district.

Sharing learning Renaissance Data with Munetrix®
Step 1: Enter State ID's in Renaissance Learning
A critical component of sharing data from one application to another is to ensure students are accurately identified. The source of the identification varies and Munetrix requires local and state IDs for both districts and schools; these IDs need to be in Renaissance Learning before data can be shared.
- Determine which fields are required.
- Confirm the required fields are populated in your Renaissance application. If they are not populated:
- Manually enter the required IDs into Renaissance Learning (Click here to follow step by step instructions in an additional article.) OR
- Contact your Renaissance Data Integration Specialist*
*For CDI customers only as the service includes an automatic transfer of local and state district/school IDs into Renaissance Learning from your Student Information System (SIS). Please contact your Data Integration Specialist before updating district, school, student, and/or teacher State IDs in Renaissance.
Step 2: Deploy the Data Sharing Feature on Renaissance
Email support@renaissance.com with the name of "Munetrix" as the company with whom you would like to share your Renaissance application data.
An example email: John Hopkins District would like to share their Renaissance Data with Munetrix LLC.
A technical support team representative will verify that Munetrix is an approved vendor and will enable the data sharing feature on Renaissance Home within five business days of receiving your request.
Step 3: Approve the Data Sharing Feature in Renaissance
A district administrator will need to log in to Renaissance Learning and enable the data sharing feature for the first time. The person must have a role of "District Administrator" in the Renaissance Learning platform.
- From Home page, choose Data Sharing from menu on right.
- Read the security notice.
- Enter your name, title, email, and click Enable.
- Once enabled, this data share will remain in place. If you wish to stop sharing your data, you can choose to Disable the feature at any time.

- Once the data share is enabled, you will be taken to the Data Sharing Dashboard.
- Munetrix will be listed on this screen. Verify Munetrix is listed and select the appropriate boxes for the data you wish to share. Select Save at the bottom of the page.
- Once saved, your selections will be updated and the data you selected will be automatically shared with Munetrix.
- Upon completion of initial set-up, allow 48-72 hours for Munetrix to begin receiving the initial data feed.
✏️ Note: This feature will remain enabled over time and you will not have to update your selections each year. It is still considered good practice for you to log in and verify your selections, but these will not be cleared from year to year. If you wish to stop the data transfer, you must disable the data sharing feature in Renaissance or make the changes you would like on the Data Sharing Dashboard and save those changes. You may select additional applications for data sharing at any time during the school year through the Data Sharing Dashboard.
