The data required to power the Academic Module and Early Warning app is loaded from a number of different sources. Most data is provided by the Michigan Datahub. Where data is not available through the Michigan Datahub, Munetrix + SchoolData sources data from other API/SFTP integrations or files that are manually exported and then imported into the system. The following tips will help ensure a smooth start to the year with the Munetrix + SchoolData applications.
Roster Data
- Michigan Datahub Integration: Ensure the district ODS file for the 2025-2026 school year has been rolled over and the district is pushing data from the SIS to the Michigan Datahub.
- PowerSchool Plug-in: Districts who use the PowerSchool Plug-in to pass data will continue to pass data and Munetrix + SchoolData will continue to ingest it.
Assessment Data
The embargo on state assessment data has been lifted! Munetrix+SchoolData has already loaded state assessment data for hundreds of customers. For those who do not see 2024-2025 state assessment data in the system, we need your help.
There are a variety of ways that student level state assessment data populates the various Munetrix + SchoolData applications. The tips below will help ensure student level state assessment data is loaded smoothly.
- Michigan Datahub: For districts who send rosters from the Michigan Datahub to the Academic Module M-STEP, PSAT, and SAT data will flow from the Michigan Datahub to the system. If you have previously authorized Munetrix to pull state assessment data it will flow once the district pushes data for this school year. Step-By-Step Directions
- PowerSchool Direct Plug-in: For districts using the PowerSchool Direct plug-in, Munetrix + SchoolData will need to be authorized in the OEAA site to pull M-STEP, PSAT and SAT student level data to load into the Academic Module.
- OEAA Secure Site Authorization: WIDA, MIACCESS and Target Claims data must be manually pulled and uploaded for all Academic Module customers, regardless of which roster integration the district uses. In the past different districts had authorized different individuals to pull their data. This year, we are streamlining the process and improving security by bringing this function under one individual. All Academic Module customers have received a request in the OEAA Secure Site to authorize one of our data specialists.

🚨NOTE: Many districts have already approved the authorization request for one of the above individuals in the OEAA secure site. Their data has been uploaded.
- Benchmark Assessment API/SFTP Integrations: Our API/SFTP integrations with NWEA, i-Ready, and STAR will continue to pass data as they have in the past.
- Other Assessments: For other assessments such as Fastbridge, DRC, Acadience, Aimsweb, Fountas & Pinnell, and DRA, district staff will need to export their data to CSV files and upload them to their Munetrix + SchoolData BOX folder. Munetrix +SchoolData will then manually import the data files.
