I knew some superstars, had a mere impression of others,  heard stories about a few (you know the ones), and the rest were total mysteries. I’d spend a few days channeling my inner detective digging through student files like I was solving a cold case. I’d collect attendance records, behavior notes, test scores, report cards, IEPs, teacher comments and patch it all together into a spreadsheet masterpiece. *Why?
